Ankita Patel is the Doula Program Manager for the GROWTH with Doulas and Dads Program. Previously, she worked with the Title V funded Center of Excellence in MCH Education, Practice, and Science at the University of South Florida. As a program coordinator, Ankita worked to engage graduate students in developing their skills to become future MCH leaders. In order to gain a holistic view of the MCH public health profession, she transitioned to work as a Florida KidCare navigator where her main focus was predominantly in the rural treasure coast counties. She is a graduate from the University of South Florida with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and a MPH in Maternal and Child Health.
