MamaCare Rising

MamaCare Rising offers full-spectrum (prenatal, birth, and postpartum) support through a combination of telehealth and in-person services for eligible clients delivering in Hillsborough County, in partnership with USF/Tampa General Hospital.

Pregnant moms in need of additional resources or services. Pregnant moms delivering in Hillsborough County; recently post-partum.

• Doula support: Virtual prenatal & postpartum education; in-person birth support)
• Telehealth midwifery care: Prenatal and postpartum education, guidance, and support through nurse midwife telehealth visits (Genesis/TGH partnership)
• Lactation support: Breastfeeding education and guidance with access to certified lactation consultants (IBCLC’s)
• Nutrition and dietitian services: Access to dietitian and nutrition education to include condition-specific pregnancy education (e.g., gestational diabetes, anemia, blood pressure concerns)
• Mental health counseling support: Counseling and emotional wellness resources during pregnancy and postpartum
• Medical supplies to support pregnancy-related conditions (e.g., blood pressure cuffs, diabetes monitoring supplies)
• Care coordination, education, and community resource referrals: Ongoing maternal and infant health education and Connection to community and family support resources
