Cindy Merkle’s HR career spans over 7 years. She has held roles as a HR generalist responsible for all areas of the employment life cycle with an emphasis in employee relations, performance management, unemployment compensation and leadership training. She is also well versed in employee recruitment, on-boarding, benefit administration, writing job descriptions and creating/updating employee handbooks.
Cindy’s HR career began in the HR outsourcing industry whereby she worked with clients in a variety of industries in a multi-state environment. To provide enhanced consultative guidance as it pertains to regulatory requirements, multi-state employment law and representing her employer for unemployment compensation hearings, she gained her Paralegal certification. Additionally, she was instrumental in establishing the HR delivery model for the outsourcing firm and more recently involved in high volume recruitment, hiring and on-boarding. Cindy prides herself in establishing strong relationships and is extremely customer/client focused.
Cindy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Eastern Michigan University with post-baccalaureate classes in Human Resources from the University of Florida.
